marcia_green_2_x600I'm Marcia Green, the Music Coordinator at Trinity.  It's great to have a job that I really love (almost)  all the time!  I have been a musician my whole life.  I started playing piano and organ at Trinity when I was ten years old and haven't stopped yet.  Over the years I have taught music in the public schools, but have always been involved in church music.

At Trinity, I get to work with the best people on earth--musicians!  Trinity is blessed with a marvelous group of people of all ages and abilities who are willing to share their music.  We encourage "all of the music for all of the people."  That means that we can sings chants that have been sung for hundreds of years and also sing cowboy songs.  We can sing Bach and camp songs.  We can play guitars and violins and bells and kazoos.  We can wear t-shirts and robes.  We can sing with actions and sing in a candle-lit sanctuary.  The variety of music gives a spark to all of the activities at church. Music enriches my life.  I hope it provides inspiration at services, and I know it gives glory to God!
